The Laborer will complete general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor. Duties may include all phases of underground construction including but are not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment. What you’ll do… - You will dig using hand shovel and mechanical tools - You will install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling - You will climb in and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.) - You will operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery - You will work in congested or remote areas - You will maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement - You will perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor - You will maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies

Laborer duties will include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor.   Responsibilities:  - All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment - Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools - Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling - Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.) - Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery - Working in congested or remote areas - Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects  to ensure safe coordination of movement - Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor - Flagging, property or worksite restoration  - Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies  

Successful Lineman candidate must have knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety rules, and operating instructions.   Responsibilities: - Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable - Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.  - Safely operate mechanized equipment such as; bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more.  - Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers - Flagging traffic when required - Understanding of separation and clearance regulations - Ability to safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders. - Flexibility to work in multiple locations - Ability to travel when travel is required.
